IN THIS LESSON
You + Everyone Else
Postpartum doesn’t just change you — it shifts every relationship around you. Your partner, your parents, your friends… even your sense of connection to your child can feel complicated. And if you’re healing from trauma, these shifts can be even more pronounced. You may find yourself needing different kinds of support… and feeling grief when others can’t give it.
This week, we gently explore how to reconnect with those who matter, establish boundaries with those who deplete you, and most importantly — build a safe, compassionate relationship with yourself.
You’ll also begin to reflect on the lineage of women before you: What did they teach you about love, motherhood, and power? What are you here to rewrite?
Coaching Exercise: Circle of Intimacy
Draw a large circle on a blank sheet of paper. This is your emotional center.
Inside it, write the names of people who feel safe, supportive, and aligned.
Outside the circle, write the names of people who feel draining, intrusive, or disconnected.
Reflect: What boundaries need to be strengthened? Who do you want to move closer to?
Choose one relationship to tend to this week — either by nurturing it or lovingly releasing it.
Journal Prompt: My Relationships
What relationships in my life are asking to evolve — and what would I say if I gave myself full permission to speak my truth?
